I work at Pamflett where I teach the technique and process of riso printing, and print riso for customers. I love the ocean (even though I fear it), collect old photographs and books, and enjoy drinking tea with a cat on my lap.
CMYK?, 2021
I wanted to experiment with using other colours than the traditional CMYK-colours for printing illustrations and photographs on the riso. In total I have used 14 out of the 17 riso colours we have at KMD, and made around 70 different colour combinations, on 4 different images each, and in total about 300 different images. It took a lot of planning and logistics, but it was incredibly fun to see all the different combinations, and how each of them effect the colours in the photographs.
With the riso inks: Black, Light Grey, Brown, Fluorescent Pink, Bright Red, Fluorescent Red, Fluorescent Orange, Sunflower Yellow, Yellow, Green, Teal, Aqua, Blue, and Purple.
